Alex Lea is a Creative Director who has been working in the (mostly New York City) advertising world for over 20 years, and has most recently worked at ROKKAN, Saatchi and Saatchi NY, Grey NY, Erwin Penland, Crispin, Porter & Bogusky in Boulder, and Droga5. His resume includes a wide variety of clients from automotive (Cadillac, Ford) to the Dairy Council (got milk?); retail giants (Walmart) to Coca Cola; children’s snacks (Fruitsnacks, Kool-Aid, Capri Sun) to clothing labels (L.L.Bean) and big beer brands (Heineken and Miller), and of course telecom and tech (Verizon Wireless, Net10 and Microsoft’s Xbox One).
Alex’s career as a CD with an art direction focus has taught him the value of communicating visually and simply – a skill-set sharpened while working for several internationally focused agencies and brands. He has built a career on doing strong work for challenging clients, and continues to push creative communication into pop culture and out of the world of “just ads.”
Alex is a firm believer in the transportive and persuasive power of beautiful imagery and design. Something that is too-often lost in contemporary marketing and advertising.
